Ben Abernathy
President
Mr. Abernathy, a Florida native, was introduced to the construction industry in 1975 as a carpenter apprentice while attending college for construction management and engineering at FIU. He progressed from carpenter to foreman, superintendent, project manager to eventually president of SAC Construction. A leading commercial contracting company in South Florida for over 30 years. In 1996, he relocated to Carbondale, Colorado where he expanded the business in residential development. Then, in 2002 he returned to Florida to reestablish his business presence in the South Florida market.
Ben has a combined total of 40 years in the construction industry as a business owner.

Chris Abernathy
Vice President
Chris is the second-generation contractor raised in the South Florida market working for the past 18 years under Mr. Abernathy in commercial and residential construction. With a degree from Miami-Dade/FIU the local market is his expertise honed over his entire career. In those years Chris has worked through all aspects of construction from small-scale residential additions, large custom home remodels to complete builds, tenant buildouts of multiple sizes in commercial buildings, medical facilities, large complete public schools, and large mid-rise high-volume town-home projects. Details, workmanship, and quality have and are always the priorities in construction and are held as mandatory practice for Chris.
